Estate Planning, Will Writing and Probate Legislation

The American Indian Probate Reform Act of 2004 (AIPRA), which took effect June 20, 2006, made wholesale changes to the way individual landowners and tribes process and prepare for the transfer of Indian land on reservations. For resources and links to more information on this critical legislation, as well as general information on estate planning and will writing, please visit the Institute for Indian Estate Planning and Probate's web site.
